Public documentation, verification keys, and saved examples are free to read. You can hash your own bytes and verify a saved receipt locally without payment.
An unpaid request returns payment requirements when it reaches the payment check. Handoff requests must first pass payload and execution-window validation. POST /v1/receipt remains a deprecated alias for POST /v2/receipt. Check the amount, network, asset, and recipient before authorizing payment.
The service catalog lists two services: signed time and digest witness. A third paid operation, POST /agent/handoff, is available outside that catalog.
